This policy explains how MindSnap Studios ("we", "us") handles information in MindSnap: Brain & Reflex Game ("the Game"). For general practices, see our general Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Google Play Games account data (if you sign in): when you sign in with Google Play Games, we and Google Play Games Services receive your Play Games player ID, gamer alias/display name, and avatar, and a Firebase user ID via Firebase Authentication. This lets us identify your account for leaderboards, achievements, and cross-device progress.
- Gameplay data tied to your account: if you sign in, your scores and achievements may be submitted to Google Play Games Services and stored under your Play Games account. If you do not sign in, scores and settings are stored only on your device.
- Analytics & diagnostics: via Firebase Analytics, we collect aggregated, pseudonymous usage and stability events (for example, app opens, feature usage, and crash information).
- Advertising identifiers: when ads are served, the Google Advertising ID and related signals are processed by our advertising partner (Google AdMob).
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, language, and app version.
2. Google Play Games sign-in & Firebase Authentication
Sign-in is handled by Google Play Games Services and Firebase Authentication. We use the resulting account identifiers only to operate account features (leaderboards, achievements, and saving your progress to your account). Your Play Games profile and leaderboard/achievement data are also processed by Google under Google's own policies. You can manage or disconnect Play Games access at any time in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account settings, and you may play without signing in (with local-only progress).
3. How we use information
- To operate the Game and remember your progress and preferences (locally, and to your account if you sign in).
- To provide leaderboards, achievements, and cross-device sync through Google Play Games Services.
- To measure performance and stability and to improve gameplay.
- To display and measure advertising, including frequency capping and fraud prevention.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising & consent
The Game shows interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. In the EEA, UK, and other applicable regions, we present a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads; you may choose non-personalized ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Data retention & deletion
On-device data remains until you clear it in the Game or uninstall. Account-linked data (Play Games profile, leaderboard, and achievement data) is retained by Google Play Games Services under your Google account; you can delete Play Games data for this game from the Google Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account data), and you can request deletion of account data we hold by emailing us. Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers per their policies.
7. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit for network requests. No system is perfectly secure.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
MindSnap is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 (Google Play Games sign-in has its own age requirements). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Subject to your jurisdiction (India's DPDP Act 2023, the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, deletion, or portability of data and may withdraw consent. Email mr.mathurpratyush@gmail.com to exercise any right, manage Play Games access in your Google account, or manage ad personalization via your device settings.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Effective" date reflects the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
