MINDSNAP STUDIOS

Privacy Policy

General Policy · Effective 10 July 2026
← Home Terms & Conditions
This is the general privacy policy for MindSnap Studios ("we", "us", "our"). Each of our applications also has its own policy that describes practices specific to that app: MindSnap, PuzzleForge, and Before You Sign. Where an app-specific policy conflicts with this one, the app-specific policy governs for that app.

1. Who we are

MindSnap Studios is an independent developer of mobile applications. For any privacy question or request, contact us at mr.mathurpratyush@gmail.com. For users in India, we act as the "Data Fiduciary"; under the GDPR we act as the "Data Controller".

2. Scope

This policy applies to our websites and mobile applications that link to it. It explains what information is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide

Depending on the app, this may include content you voluntarily enter (for example, text or documents you submit for analysis) and, if the app offers sign-in, your account identifiers (such as your Google account email and display name).

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & technical data: device model, operating-system version, language, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs.
  • Usage data: in-app events and interactions used to understand feature usage and improve the app.
  • Advertising identifiers: where ads are shown, the Google Advertising ID and related signals may be processed by our advertising partners (see Section 5).

3.3 Information from third parties

We receive limited information from the platform and service providers we integrate (for example, Google Play Services, Firebase, and Google AdMob) to operate, secure, measure, and monetize the apps.

4. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the apps and their features.
  • To display and measure advertising and, where applicable, to offer ad-free or premium options.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you submit to train our own AI models.

5. Advertising, analytics & consent

Our free apps may display ads through Google AdMob and may use Google Play Services and Firebase (for example Analytics and Crashlytics) to measure performance and stability. In the EEA, UK, and other applicable regions, we present a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads, and you may choose non-personalized ads. You can also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. AdMob privacy information is available at support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.

6. Third-party services & sub-processors

We rely on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Play Services & Google Play Billing — Google Privacy Policy
  • Google AdMob (advertising) — Google Ads & data
  • Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and database, where used) — Firebase Privacy

7. Data sharing & disclosure

We share information only: (a) with the service providers above to operate the apps; (b) to comply with law or valid legal process; (c) to protect our rights, users, and the public; and (d) in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.

8. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymize it. Diagnostic and aggregated usage data is generally retained for a limited period for quality and security. Content stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

11. Children's privacy

Our apps are intended for general audiences and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under India's DPDP Act 2023, the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to withdraw consent, to opt out of certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. To exercise any right, email mr.mathurpratyush@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
