This policy explains how MindSnap Studios ("we", "us") handles information in Grid Clash: Dice Board Battle ("the Game"). For general practices, see our general Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Google account data (only if you sign in): when you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and basic profile, plus a Firebase user ID. This is used solely to store and restore your game progress across devices. Sign-in is optional; every game mode works without it.
- Player name & avatar: a name you choose (or a random one we generate) and your chosen avatar are stored on your device, shown to other players in multiplayer rooms, and displayed next to your scores on public leaderboards.
- Gameplay statistics: wins, high scores, and a skill rating are sent to our online leaderboards (hosted on Google Firebase) and are publicly visible next to your chosen player name.
- Multiplayer session data: when you create or join a room, your player name, avatar, and in-game moves are shared in real time with the other players in that room via Firebase Realtime Database.
- Purchases: in-app purchases (gems) are processed by Google Play Billing; we receive purchase confirmations and entitlements but never your payment details.
- Feedback: if you submit in-app feedback, your message, chosen category, and a short buffer of in-app diagnostic logs are sent to us to help diagnose issues.
- Advertising identifiers: when ads are served, the Google Advertising ID and related signals are processed by our advertising partner (Google AdMob).
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, language, and app version.
2. Google Sign-In & cloud save
Sign-in is handled by Google and Firebase Authentication. We use the resulting account identifiers only to operate cloud save (storing your progress, unlocks, and gems against your account and restoring them on any device you sign in on). Your Google account data is also processed by Google under Google's own policies. You can play entirely without signing in (with local-only progress), and you can request deletion of your account and cloud data at any time — see our Delete My Account page.
3. How we use information
- To operate the Game and remember your progress and preferences (locally, and in the cloud if you sign in).
- To run online multiplayer rooms and public leaderboards.
- To process and restore in-app purchases.
- To respond to feedback and diagnose reported issues.
- To display and measure rewarded advertising, including frequency capping and fraud prevention.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising
The Game shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Where required by law, consent is requested before serving personalized ads, and you may choose non-personalized ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Third-party services
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Hosting) — Firebase Privacy
- Google AdMob (advertising) — AdMob & data
- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases) — Google Privacy Policy
6. Data retention & deletion
On-device data remains until you clear the Game's data or uninstall. Leaderboard entries (player name + statistics) remain visible until you ask us to remove them. Account-linked cloud saves are retained while your account exists. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (cloud save, leaderboard entry, feedback) via our Delete My Account page; we complete deletion requests within 30 days. Advertising data is retained by Google per its policies.
7. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit for all network requests. No system is perfectly secure.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
Grid Clash is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Subject to your jurisdiction (India's DPDP Act 2023, the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, deletion, or portability of data and may withdraw consent. Email mr.mathurpratyush@gmail.com to exercise any right, or manage ad personalization via your device settings.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Effective" date reflects the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
